Attorneys say 'sweetheart deal' between labor, rideshare giants shortchanges injured passengers

Speaking at the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles conference in Las Vegas, the "father of rideshare litigation" Christopher Dolan said that passengers will pay heavily for the deal, blessed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom. He said that Uber and Lyft's claims that rides would become cheaper were "total bullshit."

Personal injury attorney Christopher Dolan called Friday's deal between labor groups and Uber and Lyft a "big loss" for injured rideshare passengers, warning that the sharp cut in insurance coverage will leave many unable to cover medical bills.
