X has tentatively settled a lawsuit with 70 former Twitter employees who alleged the company broke severance and remote work promises following Elon Musk's acquisition and rebranding of the platform.

Social media platform X has tentatively settled a second lawsuit in the space of two days brought by former employees of Twitter regarding mass layoffs that followed Elon Musk's $44 billion purchase and rebranding of the company.

A lawsuit filed by nearly 70 former employees accused X of breaching contractual obligations under the agreement through which Musk acquired the company.
