An Alameda County judge decided Wednesday to sanction counsel on one side of a wrongful death lawsuit against Kaiser Foundation Hospitals after both sides failed to timely file case management statements.

Judge Karin Schwartz had issued a tentative ruling against both the plaintiff's and defendant's attorneys for not submitting case management conference statements 15 days ahead of the conference, as she ordered.
