Court denies chamber request to halt new climate disclosure laws
A federal judge again denied the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's request to block California's new climate disclosure laws, finding no new arguments and rejecting its First Amendment claims.





A judge in Los Angeles has, again, denied the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's request to temporarily block two new California climate disclosure laws from going into effect next year.
Last Thursday, U.S. District Judge Otis D. Wright II ruled that Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, representing the Chamber, failed to present any new arguments warranting reconsideration of his prior injunction.
