A San Francisco judge gave PG&E's defense a boost in a putative class action over claims tied to the 2021 Dixie fires the plaintiffs allege it caused. The lawsuit seeks to split out costs for medical monitoring of residents who breathed in toxic smoke from the larger coordinated proceedings over property damage.
