Judge grants preliminary approval of $4.3M Sutter Health retirement plan settlement

Senior U.S. District Judge Lee H. Rosenthal signed off on the deal on Thursday, calling the settlement "fair, reasonable, and adequate" and saying it was "negotiated vigorously and at arm's length."

A federal judge has granted preliminary approval to a $4.3 million class action settlement resolving claims over Sutter Health's management of its employee retirement plan.
