Federal prosecutor who resigned in protest joins Kendall Brill & Kelly
Cassie D. Palmer, former chief of the Public Corruption and Civil Rights Section in Los Angeles, left the U.S. Attorney's Office in protest of a plea deal she said undermined a jury verdict against a sheriff's deputy.





Former federal prosecutor Cassie D. Palmer has rejoined Kendall Brill & Kelly LLP as a partner after resigning earlier this year from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
"I resigned earlier this year, following my objection to a proposed plea agreement for a convicted sheriff's deputy that undermined the jury's verdict," Palmer said in an interview.
