Ford, lemon law firms clash over $100M racketeering claims

Ford Motor Co. and California lemon law firms continue their racketeering dispute, with Knight Law and co-defendants urging dismissal of Ford's $100 million fraud suit ahead of a November hearing.

The dispute between Ford Motor Co. and California lemon law firms intensified as Knight Law Group LLP and several co-defendants argued Ford's attempt to keep alive its $100 million racketeering lawsuit offered nothing new or plausible to support its claims that the firms targeted automakers for years in a fraudulent billing scheme.
