Jury awards $17M to psychologist in discrimination suit against prison system
A Sacramento jury found the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation liable for discrimination, retaliation, and defamation against a Harvard-trained psychologist who reported sexual harassment at Salinas Valley State Prison.
