$10M settlement for family of veteran fatally struck in parking lot

Attorneys from Morgan & Morgan said the result vindicated the family following years of denied responsibility.

The family of an 89-year-old Navy veteran fatally struck in a Torrance parking lot has secured a $10 million settlement after rejecting the defense's top pretrial offer.

Morgan & Morgan attorneys Arthur Petrousian, Daniel DeSantis and Tatevik Gasparyan represented the family and reached the settlement during trial, shortly before the jury was set to deliver a verdict.
