Daniel Roberts appointed U.S. magistrate judge in Central District of California

The longtime municipal law litigator joins the nation's largest federal district court, which serves more than 19 million people across seven Southern California counties.

The judges of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California have appointed Daniel S. Roberts as a U.S. magistrate judge. Roberts was sworn in on Nov. 10 and will preside over matters in Los Angeles in the court's Western Division. He succeeds Magistrate Judge Gail Standish.
