Commission confirms 3 new justices to California Courts of Appeal

The Commission on Judicial Appointments on Monday unanimously confirmed three new justices to California's Courts of Appeal, including the unusual direct elevation of Supreme Court chambers attorney Matthew Scherb to the 2nd District, alongside San Bernardino County Superior Court Judge Corey G. Lee to the 4th District and Fresno County Superior Court Judge Arlan L. Harrell to the 5th District.

The Commission on Judicial Appointments on Monday unanimously approved three new justices to California's Courts of Appeal -- elevating Supreme Court chambers attorney Matthew Scherb directly to the 2nd District, advancing San Bernardino County Superior Court Judge Corey G. Lee to the 4th District, and appointing veteran Fresno County jurist Arlan L. Harrell to the 5th District.
