USC denies bias in marital dispute between two law professors
USC denied allegations by Gould School of Law professor Camille Rich, who claims the university mishandled her reports about a fellow law professor, her ex-husband, having a sexual relationship with a law student.
The University of Southern California has denied a series of discrimination and retaliation claims brought by a Gould School of Law professor who alleges the university mishandled her reports that her ex-husband -- also a law professor -- had an affair with a student.
"The lawsuit has no legal merit. We look forward to defending the university's position in court," USC said in a statement forwarded Thursday by Pazzani & Sandhu LLP partner Puneet K. Sandhu.
