San Francisco court declares impasse with clerks' union after 30 bargaining sessions

The San Francisco Superior Court says talks with union representing deputy court clerks have reached impasse after union members rejected two contract offers amid growing state budget shortfalls.

Contract negotiations between the San Francisco Superior Court and the union representing its deputy court clerks have reached an impasse after months of bargaining and the rejection of two separate contract options, court officials said Friday.
