Kilpatrick taps new leader in Los Angeles

Caroline Barbee succeeds longtime leader Larry McFarland, who will return full time to his practice with the firm's Trademark, Copyright & Advertising team.

Kilpatrick announced Tuesday that Caroline Y. Barbee assumed leadership of the firm's Los Angeles office effective Dec. 1, succeeding Larry McFarland, who held the position since 2013.

McFarland will continue his practice with the firm's Trademark, Copyright & Advertising team.

Barbee said it is an honor to be named managing partner in the Los Angeles office, calling her predecessor a legal giant.
