Former O.C. man convicted of threatening to kill judge in family law case

Prosecutors said that between May and July 2023, Sanchez sent multiple emails threatening to kill the judge and harm others, including additional judicial officers, attorneys and law enforcement personnel.

After an hour of deliberation, a federal jury last week convicted a former Orange County man of threatening to kill the superior court judge who presided over his family law case, concluding a prosecution that began after a series of violent messages he sent from Mexico in 2023.
