Los Angeles jurors were told Friday that Johnson & Johnson used its multinational status and resources to "control the story" over the past four weeks about the safety of its talcum powder products.

The company's attorneys at Kirkland & Ellis LLP countered that no reliable scientific evidence shows the disputed baby and body powder products were substantial factors in causing the plaintiffs' "rare ovarian cancers."
