State Bar seizes West Covina man's business for unauthorized practice of law
According to the Office of Chief Trial Counsel the man placed attorney ads in a Spanish-language outlet representing himself as an attorney and eviction law specialist with more than 41 years in practice.
The State Bar of California seized the business of Jose Baez on Friday for engaging in the unauthorized practice of law, the Office of Chief Trial Counsel announced Tuesday.
According to the office, Baez, doing business as Jose M. Baez & Associates Law Group of West Covina Inc., placed attorney ads in a Spanish-language outlet representing himself as an attorney and eviction law specialist with more than 41 years in practice.
