Davis Polk to open Los Angeles office with Skadden partner

Jason D. Russell, a veteran antitrust litigator, will head the firm's new office.

Davis Polk & Wardwell is opening a Los Angeles office, tapping Jason D. Russell, head of Skadden's Los Angeles office, to lead the new outpost, a source told the Daily Journal.

Russell has been with Skadden for more than 32 years and has represented clients including the NBA, Christie's, MGA Entertainment, and Credit Acceptance Corp. in high-profile matters.
