DOJ accuses Cloudera of hiring bias against U.S. Workers

The Civil Rights Division alleges the Santa Clara software company routed U.S. applicants for seven six-figure tech jobs to a dead email address while reserving the roles for foreign workers it sought to sponsor for green cards.

The Justice Department on Tuesday filed a lawsuit against Santa Clara-based Cloudera Inc., accusing the company of violating the Immigration and Nationality Act by intentionally discriminating against U.S. workers in favor of foreign nationals on temporary visas.
