Judicial elections in 24 California counties feature incumbent judges, commissioners, administrative law judges, prosecutors, public defenders and private attorneys competing for Superior Court seats in the June 2 primary election.

Judges will appear on election ballots in almost half of California's counties on June 2, with races featuring incumbent judges, commissioners and administrative law judges, prosecutors, public defenders and private attorneys.
Nine sitting judges are facing challenges in seven counties. Three Los Angeles County judges and one each in Contra Costa, Inyo, Orange, Placer, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties face opponents of their re-election to six-year terms.
