Musk lawyer says OpenAI built on 'Sam Altman's version of the truth'

Attorneys for Elon Musk and OpenAI delivered sharply contrasting closing arguments Thursday in a high-stakes trial over whether the artificial intelligence company betrayed its nonprofit mission.

Minutes into his closing argument, Elon Musk's attorney Steven F. Molo of MoloLamken LLP asked the jurors in his client's lawsuit against OpenAI to imagine they were on a hike. They come upon a rickety wooden bridge over a gorge and grow nervous. But a woman by the bridge attempts to reassure them by saying, "Don't worry, the bridge is built on Sam Altman's version of the truth."
