Apple asks Supreme Court to overturn Epic injunction
Apple asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn an injunction and contempt ruling stemming from its long-running antitrust dispute with Epic Games, arguing the 9th Circuit improperly expanded courts' power to issue nationwide injunctions.
Attorneys for Apple Inc. filed a petition for certiorari with the U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday challenging both the nationwide injunction entered in its litigation with Epic Games Inc. and a contempt ruling issued by an Oakland federal judge.
