Australian records, billionaire financier sought in 'The Deb' litigation

Rebel Wilson and producers of "The Deb" are seeking evidence from Australia and England in their Los Angeles defamation litigation, including records from related proceedings and testimony from billionaire Len Blavatnik.

Disputes over foreign discovery have emerged in the defamation case between actress-director Rebel Wilson and producers of her Australian film, "The Deb," as both sides pursue evidence from proceedings overseas.

In motions filed Friday, the producers asked Superior Court Judge Thomas D. Long to compel Wilson to produce records from an Australian writing-credit arbitration and a defamation lawsuit brought against her there by the film's lead actress, Charlotte MacInne...
