Judge raises scheduling concerns in Uber tax refund suit
A San Francisco judge questioned whether city attorneys will have enough time to prepare for Uber's $75 million-plus tax refund trial after it tries a similar Lyft case in November.
San Francisco Judge Jeffrey S. Ross raised concerns Thursday about whether city attorneys will have enough time to prepare for a January trial over Uber's claim for more than $75 million in tax refunds after it tries a similar case brought by Lyft in November.
Uber's bench trial is scheduled to begin Jan. 25, 2027, while Lyft's tax refund trial is set for Nov. 2.
