Attorneys have reached a settlement in principle covering a "significant number of cases" in California's coordinated litigation over the heartburn drug Ranitidine, prompting an Alameda County judge to vacate two upcoming trials.
Judge Somnath Raj Chatterjee vacated the trial dates in Lees v. GlaxoSmithKline LLC et al. and McLeod v. Boehringer Ingelheim International GmbH et al. after counsel reported the agreement, according to a Monday order.
