AirTag stalking cases centralized in Northern District of California

A federal judicial panel consolidated 17 lawsuits alleging Apple failed to design adequate safeguards against misuse of AirTags for stalking, assigning the litigation to U.S. District Judge Noel Wise.

Seventeen lawsuits alleging Apple Inc.'s AirTag tracking devices were used to facilitate stalking have been consolidated in the Northern District of California, months after a judge denied class certification in the litigation that spawned many of the individual cases.
