The dean of UC Berkeley Law School and the university's general counsel urge UC administrators and police to adopt a gentler response to student protests.

The dean of UC Berkeley Law School and the university's general counsel urge UC administrators and police to adopt a gentler response to student protests, including respecting civil disobedience and avoiding blind adherence to rules and regulations, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.
