GCs Gain as Businesses Bring Work In House

A look at in-house legal department compensation.

Compensation for in-house lawyers continued rising in 2014, according to a survey by HBR Consulting of mainly Fortune 500 companies. Breaking out data for 40 businesses in California, HBR found that compensation for in-house counsel nationwide caught up with pay in California as bonuses rose more slowly here.
