Pro bono opportunities this month for even the busiest Southern California lawyers.

April Opportunities

What: Bet Tzedek Advance Planning Clinic; attorneys and paralegals help low-income clients draft advance health care directives and statutory wills.
When: Friday, April 18, 1 p.m.
Where: Bet Tzedek Legal Services, 3250 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles.
Details: Register with Bet Tzedek pro bono director Diego Cartagena at dcartagena@bettzedek.org.

What: Free training for lawyers to later represent immigrants in court on a Wednesday or Friday.
When: Tuesday, April 29, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Los Angeles County Bar offices, 1055 W. 7th Street, Suite 2700, Los Angeles.
