Nossaman holds coastal law conference

Nossaman LLP hosted its 2017 California Coastal Law Conference Oct. 10 at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla.

The seminar kicked off with a presentation by California Coastal Commission executive director John “Jack” Ainsworth, who offered an overview of emerging commission policies and approaches to implementing the California Coastal Act.

Panel discussions featured representatives from the California Coastal Commission, the California State Lands Commission, Nossaman LLP and Venable LLP, who tackled topics such as sea level rise and shoreline management; landmark coastal development cases; and Coastal Commission enforcement and condition compliance.
