Faigman, UC Hastings Board of Directors member Marci Dragun, Hani Al-Alawneh and Steve Dell'Orto from Clark Construction Group; Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP partner Carrie Byles; UC Hastings Board of Trustees President Robert K. Sall, and UC Hastings Board of Governors President-elect Paul Laurin.

California state Sen. Scott Wiener joined UC Hastings College of the Law Chancellor and Dean David L. Faigman in an Oct. 20 ground breaking ceremony on the site of the school’s new academic facility in San Francisco.

The platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified building is a first step in UC Hastings’ long-range plan to develop an academic village in the heart of San Francisco that will share housing and academic platforms with UC San Francisco and other universities, according to school officials.
