Charles T. Munger’s impact on the Daily Journal lives on

The news coverage after Charlie’s passing gives me an appreciation of what a class-act he was.

I enjoyed reading Charlie Munger's obituary, ("Charles T. Munger, 1924 - 2023," Daily Journal, Nov. 28, 2023). I did not know that Charlie's range of interests included the legal profession. I was pleased to read that he invested the time and money to grow the Daily Journal Company and expand its reach into case management software. The news coverage after Charlie's passing gives me an appreciation of what a class-act he was. RIP.

My father, George Cutler, worked for the L.A. Daily Journal from the end of World War II until the mid-1970s. My sister and I would occasionally go to the Daily Journal downtown office with my dad on Saturdays. I recall being fascinated by the huge sheets of paper scrolling through the huge printing presses at amazing speed. I'm happy to see the paper is still in-print and, apparently, thriving.
