The Los Angeles Regional Office of the Securities & Exchange Commission is seeking an attorney for its Enforcement program. The position offers a highly talented and motivated attorney an unparalleled opportunity to investigate and litigate a wide variety of complex civil cases, including insider trading, financial fraud, investment fraud, and market manipulation. Our attorneys are given a high degree of responsibility and frequently appear against prominent members of the securities and white-collar defense bar in cases of national significance. Applicants must possess at least three years of legal experience involving complex cases. Experience with federal securities laws preferred. Additional factors include academic record, other relevant experience, commitment to public service, leadership potential, and strong oral advocacy and writing skills. We are actively seeking a diverse work force. Applicants must possess active bar membership. Starting salary range is $131,353 - $216,010 based on qualifications and experience.
