Responsibilities: Complete accurate and timely coverage, liability, and damage investigations on complex claims under Employment Practices Liability Insurance Policies. Manage a pending of employment related claims, strategizing with defense counsel and our Insureds as well as working with brokers and underwriters to drive the best result for the claim from inception through resolution or trial/arbitration. Represent the company at meetings with management and business partners, as well as at mediations, settlement conferences, trials, and arbitrations. Qualifications: Must obtain required adjuster licenses within 90 days of hire. A BA/BS degree is preferred; a JD will set you apart and is highly regarded. Employment law experience is preferred. Bring 3-5 years of experience in EPL claims or relevant legal roles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective advocacy and relationship-building. Capability to analyze technical legal information with agility and precision in a fast-paced environment. Decision-making skills that demonstrate your legal expertise and independence in handling complex issues. Pay range: $72,400 - $123,100. |
