Buckley, a member of the Los Angeles County court’s complex litigation department, has handled especially complicated cases during his time on the Superior Court, including the 2015 Porter Ranch gas leak litigation by more than 35,000 plaintiffs, all of the Johnson & Johnson talc lawsuits in California and disputes involving wildfires in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
