FULLERTON - Superior Court Commissioner Kira A. Rubin once pictured herself in a lab, not a courtroom. With a degree in microbiology and molecular genetics, she seemed destined for medicine. But a winding path--from public health to business, law, and now the bench--has made her one of Orange County's most adaptable and empathetic judicial officers.
