MONTEREY PARK - As a child, Superior Court Judge Syna N. Dennis took a photography class where she learned to develop images in a darkroom. The process fascinated her.
"I thought photography was fantastic," she said. "I was going to travel around the world, take pictures, and tell my stories through pictures."
