      NORWALK - Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Margaret Miller Bernal does not get a lot of thank-you notes from the convicted felons she sentences. But she smiles at this one.
      "Dear Judge Margaret," the letter from the grateful defendant began. "You rock!"
