RIVERSIDE - There was a time when Justice Jeffrey King wanted to pursue a life in national politics. While majoring in political science at the University of Redlands, King participated in a government program in Washington, D.C. After graduation, he and his wife, who also majored in political science, considered moving back to the nation's capital.
