SACRAMENTO - Listening to potential jurors explain why they couldn't sit on a burglary trial recently, Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Robert Twiss expressed understanding, yet was not quite ready to let them off the hook for a year.
One woman explained she was recently divorced and was working two jobs, on top of taking care of a mentally ill son.
