SACRAMENTO - Donald J. Currier's path into the legal system didn't begin in law school, but in the military. He'll leave the service for good in December when he retires from the National Guard, but lawyers and colleagues say he continues to carry his strong sense of duty and discipline to his post as supervising judge of the Carol Miller Justice Center in Sacramento.
