SANTA ANA - Here's a tip for attorneys writing pleadings to present to U.S. Magistrate Judge Jean P. Rosenbluth: She likes adverbs.

Provided they're used judiciously and effectively and not as a crutch. Tacking "clearly" onto an assertion in place of an argument doesn't cut it, she said.
