SAN LUIS OBISPO - On the wall behind the desk in her immaculate chambers, Superior Court Judge Jacquelyn H. Duffy displays artwork featuring three Japanese words, which translate into English as: courage, justice, truth.
The artwork by Yoko Henderson, Duffy's mother, represents ideals Duffy seeks to live by, she said, as well as the aims of the legal system.
