Judge Raymond Cardenas says he was raised to follow the rules, so that's what he does.
The son of a railroad laborer, Cardenas was raised in a small Hispanic neighborhood in West Los Angeles. "My whole background simply is learning how to achieve a position," the Los Angeles Superior Court judge explained.
