Spent 11 years in the U.S. Attorney's office for the Northern District of California after 5 years as associate at Cooley. Clerked for Justice M. SAN FRANCISCO - Tracie L. Brown was on maternity leave from her job at the U.S. attorney's office in San Francisco when Gov. Jerry Brown's office asked her to come to Sacramento for an interview to serve on the bench.
