VALLEJO - Faced with warring dysfunctional couples locked in custody battles and not represented by lawyers, Superior Court Judge Daniel J. Healy does not mince his words.
On a recent day in his Vallejo courtroom, Healy tried to ferret out the truth in case after case of parents accusing each other of drug abuse, violent threats, and manipulating or failing to properly care for their children.
