COMPTON — No matter what the case, Judge Lynn D. Olson believes in taking a made-to-measure and thorough approach to every defendant who enters her court.
She said she agrees with the systemic change to an evidence-based approach to criminal law that looks at defendants in context before sentencing. The approach leads to more rehabilitation-oriented decisions, she said.
