VENTURA — Being predictable is a virtue worth aspiring to for Judge Roger Lund.

Sitting in his sparsely decorated chambers at the Ventura County Superior Court, Lund joked that he tries to be boring so lawyers and litigants know exactly what to expect. For a period of time Lund even gave lawyers handouts that outlined expectations for how to manage their cases.
