This supplement recognizes law firms with fewer than 25 attorneys that are managing significant matters within their areas of practice. This year's edition will also honor four law firm leaders from firms of varying sizes: fewer than 25 attorneys, 25 to 50, 50 to 100, and 100 to 200 attorneys. To qualify, 90% of the firm's attorneys must be licensed and reside in California, and all recognized leaders must also be licensed to practice and reside in California. In print on Oct. 13, 2027.
All information submitted must be accurate and verifiable. Nominations should describe only the nominee's own role in each matter, such as lead counsel, co-counsel, or a supporting role, and should not overstate their involvement or take credit for work performed by others.
Only matters handled while the nominee was at their current firm are eligible. Work completed at a prior firm, agency, or organization may not be submitted. The Daily Journal may verify submitted information with courts, opposing counsel, co-counsel, or public records. Nominations containing inaccurate or exaggerated information may be disqualified, and honors already announced may be withdrawn.
